Proposed 2023 – 2024 LCAP and Budget
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held regarding the proposed Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the 2023-24 budget for the Weaver Union School District.
Date: June 14, 2023
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Farmdale Elementary School Library
100 Winder Avenue, Merced, California 95341
Any member of the public may be hearing concerning the LCAP and budget.
Any member of the public who wishes to inspect the proposed LCAP and budget prior to the public hearing may do so starting 06/09/2023, 06/12/2023, and 06/13/2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The reports will be located at the Weaver Union School District, 1240 D Street, Merced, California 95341.
LCAP and budget adoption will be held on June 29, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., at the Weaver Middle School Library, 3076 E. Childs Avenue, Merced, California 95341.
Every year Pioneer Elementary School Librarian Sarah Smith enters a group of student projects into the Chowchilla-Madera County Fair.
This year Pioneer entered art projects from Ms. Day's kindergarten class: (Aaron Her, Prim Stephens, Skylin Moua, Mia Mejia, Vianca Santiago-Flores, Mason Hauze, Lillie Ledsome, Camilla Rivera, Pablo Soto Haro, Camille Contreras, Orasio Orozco, Mary Lucio, Matteo Lemus-Castillo, Zarayi Peters, Nia Batts, Mia Her, Jatye Butler, Grace Galvan, Victor Flores) and Mrs. Johnson submitted two of her second graders' animal habitat dioramas (Mia Hunt and April Martinez). We had several animal habitats (Savannah Cantu, Aleena Aguirre, Adam Gutierrez, Jasleen Herrera, Melinda Bucio, Damian Martinez, and Yaeretzy Santana), as well as space dioramas (Lana Moua, Emely Haro-Santos, Rosia Thompson, Aleena Aguirre, Josiah Miller, Marcus Ramirez, and Melinda Bucio) submitted from Mrs. Mitchell's class. Finally, Mrs. Griselda Garcia sent us three California mission projects (Perla Rivera, Jayden Barajas, and Jose Alvarado). Each entry received a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place ribbon.

Proposals must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. on May 5, 2023.
