Summer Meals Available June 6th-July 7th
Hello Weaver Families,
Beginning today, June 6th, we will begin our summer meals program. Meals are FREE for children and teens ages 18 and under. Please see flyer below for service locations and times. We will NOT be serving meals on Fridays.
*PLEASE NOTE: Due to changes at the federal level, we are no longer allowed to offer Grab n' Go meals. All meals must be consumed onsite. We will have seating available indoors for children to eat.
Last Friday we were able to hold our annual Farmdale vs. Pioneer Kickball game for the first time in two years! Farmdale brought home the trophy for 2022! Go Foxes!

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
1. Proposed 2022/2023 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)
2. Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2022/2023
In accordance with with Ed Code § 52062 and 42127
The governing board of Weaver Union School District will conduct a Public Hearing in accordance with Education Code § 52062 for the Proposed 2022/2023 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and in accordance with Education Code § 42127 for the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2022/2023 at its regular Board Meeting on June 8, 2022. The Public Hearing will commence at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the Weaver Middle School Library at 3076 E. Childs Avenue, Merced, California.
The proposed Proposed 2022/2023 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2022/2023 will be available for Public Inspection at the Weaver Union School District Office at 1240 “D” Street, Merced, California from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or on the District website (www.weaverusd.org) after June 3, 2022.
The adoption of the Proposed 2022/2023 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2022/2023 will be held at a special Board Meeting on June 22, 2022, at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the Weaver Middle School Library at 3076 E. Childs Avenue, Merced, California.

Superintendent, Mr. Curry, reading to the preschoolers and introducing the kids to golf. We are grateful for our leaders who are more than willing to take their time and expose our children to new opportunities. Today, the kids got to feel real golf shoes with spikes and feel equipment, such as tees, golf balls, and clubs. We’ve got some natural golfers at Farmdale.

Parent Workshop on Wednesday, January 19th from 5:45-7 PM in the Pioneer Cafeteria. This is open to all Weaver USD Preschool families (Farmdale and Pioneer). Dinner will be served from Uncle Buck's. Childcare is provided for children 2 and up. Masks must be worn.
Every child who has a family member in attendance will get a copy of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, foam letters and numbers, and a fine motor journal.
January 17th, 2022 is a School Holiday in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. School will resume on Tuesday, January 18th.

Shhhhhh!!!! Santa will be here on December 15th. Please make sure your child is on time to school so they don't miss seeing him. The children do not know he's coming, so let's keep this a secret. We'll make sure to get a picture of your child with Santa that day.
