In an effort to promote a school culture of Peace, Kindness and Respect, Weaver Middle School students participated in Rachel's Challenge, "a nationwide program that was created after the Columbine High School shooting in honor of Rachel Scott and the other victims lost on that tragic day". The program inspires kindness, compassion and starting a "chain reaction" of kindness within the school. Poet Ali, international speaker and performer, shared Rachel's story and her 5 Challenges:
1. Look for the best in others
2. Dream Big
3. Choose Positive Influences
4. Speak with kindness
5. Start your own chain reaction.
